Favorite track: Get Out! Now!.

2Bhere4U albums that have a truly narrative theme are one of my favorite things ever, so i was immediately hooked after hearing this album. i love the juxtaposition of oral narration, different vocalists for character parts, and different styles of metal used to tell a conceptual story with excellence. when a friend heard me playing this album, they asked me what musical it was from.
Favorite track: Your Story Is Over!.

Gideon Another great album! I like the brass section on 'This Human Equation' and he squeezed another past album title into the Lyrics!! Favorite track: This Human Equation.

burnitdwn Epic after epic after epic from Ayreon. Arjen delivers and delivers and delivers. Nothing unexpected, no shock, but filled with awe. I love Ayreon. Transitus is a triumph. Favorite track: Message from Beyond.

Benni Ayreon 01011001 was my first and the Introduction to AAL's masterful work. I love this new Gothic direction, especially with the addition of brass instruments in the "New Human Equation", along with a groovy and slow approach, relying heavily on the powerful singers. can't wait for the full release!

PKMetal My initial reaction to this was Cringe Factor 5, though I've since softened on it slightly. That said, even the worst thing with the name Ayreon on it (and make no mistake, this is it) beats 90% of prog bands. But if you're new to Ayreon, start with masterpieces The Source and Into the Electric Castle and make Transitus your final stop. Favorite track: Talk of the Town.

about

“The year is 1884, these are dark, troubled times, fraught with greed, envy and prejudice…” begins our narrator and storyteller, Tom Baker (Doctor Who).

‘Transitus’ is built around an entirely new story, not connected to the Ayreon universe although as always it does have some subtle links. The sci-fi theme makes way for a gothic ghost story set (partly) in the 19th century with elements of horror and the supernatural. It’s on a dark thunderous night where our story of Abby and Daniel begins...
